Cadent is seeking a highly motivated and deeply knowledgeable Senior Director, Programmatic Sales Strategy & Activation. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on our programmatic offerings, your full-time mandate will be to drive programmatic growth across the Cadent sales team. You will act as the crucial bridge between our GCS/SA sales teams, CIM (Cadent’s SSP), Product, and our agency partners. If you have a deep understanding of the SSP/DSP landscape, experience navigating complex Hold Co accreditations, and a proven track record of enabling sales teams to drive exponential revenue growth, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Go-To-Market Execution: Lead GTM programmatic sales efforts. Partner with the sales team in both pre-sale and post-sale environments to close deals and drive net-new programmatic dollars.
  • Sales Enablement & Support: Act as the internal SME, educating the sales organization on our programmatic offerings, identifying the right moments to push programmatic deals, and establishing clear guidance on goals and compensation.
  • Agency & Hold Co Activation: Partner with regional sales and Hold Co leads to coordinate regional activation plans.
    • Spearhead the process for SSP accreditation and verification from Hold Cos and other large agencies (e.g., PMX / Publicis).
    • Act as the primary point of contact and lead the strategy for any Agency SSP RFIs.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate seamlessly with CIM leadership, Product Marketing, and Sales to maximize the impact of our programmatic narrative.
  • Pipeline & Quota Management: Own and surpass programmatic sales quotas. Partner with Rev Ops and executive leadership on programmatic sales pipeline development, tracking, and forecasting.
  • Product Feedback Loop: Coordinate with CIM leadership and the Product team to ensure market feedback informs the roadmap and that new products/solutions are successfully brought to market.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years in programmatic advertising, ad tech, or media sales, with deep expertise in SSPs, DSPs, and programmatic deal structures (PMPs, PG, etc.).
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the agency landscape, specifically Hold Co structures and their programmatic verification/accreditation processes.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven ability to manage to—and exceed—sales quotas and goals, with experience partnering with Revenue Operations on pipeline management.
  • Collaborative Leader: Track record of successfully partnering with and enabling highly matrixed, cross-functional sales, product, and marketing teams.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation and communication skills; capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable sales strategies.
