The Vice President of Inventory Partnerships will be a key leader responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of our digital inventory ecosystem. This role is pivotal in curating and expanding our supply-side partnerships, driving monetization, and ensuring Cadent maintains a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving converged TV & digital marketplace. You will lead a high-performing team, serve as a subject matter expert for our go-to-market teams, and work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to maximize the value and performance of our inventory portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Partnership & Publisher Development:
    • Lead the strategy for identifying, onboarding, and managing relationships with a diverse portfolio of partners including SSPs, publishers, FAST channels, and retail media networks.
    • Cultivate deep relationships with partners, ensuring Cadent is positioned as a preferred and innovative collaborator.
    • Oversee the seamless onboarding of new supply partners and manage the transition of major deals and commitments.
  • Inventory Strategy & Monetization:
    • Develop and execute a sophisticated inventory strategy that maximizes yield and aligns with our go-to-market objectives.
    • Implement and refine our Supply Path Optimization (SPO) strategy to drive efficiency and performance.
    • Conduct deep-dive analyses of monetization structures and technical performance to identify revenue growth opportunities.
    • Collaborate on strategically packaging Cadent’s supply capabilities into innovative, client-centric solutions that create differentiation in the marketplace.
    • Spearhead our strategy for new and emerging inventory sources and other non-traditional formats.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Operations:
    • Partner with Product on strategic initiatives, including SSP integrations, ad format support, and the evolution of our Inventory Marketplace.
    • Act as the commercial leader for critical technical projects, ensuring business needs are translated into product requirements.
    • Own and manage crucial data and vendor agreements that underpin our inventory quality and measurement capabilities.
    • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on the supply landscape, providing guidance and insights to the Sales and Client Services teams.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in the ad-tech industry, with a deep focus on supply-side management, publisher development, and/or programmatic strategy. Preference to people who have DSP or SSP experience
  • An inspirational leader with experience managing and mentoring high-performing, commercially-driven teams.
  • Extensive experience within the Digital ecosystem is essential (ex. Display, OLV, OTT, Audio & DOOH)
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating complex, high-value partnerships and a strong network of senior-level contacts across the supply side.
  • Deep technical acumen with an expert understanding of programmatic deal structures (PG, PMP) & ad-serving technology
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing yield optimization and Supply Path Optimization (SPO) strategies.
  • A strategic, commercial & entrepreneurial mindset. You are data-driven and highly analytical, with a talent for converting performance insights into actionable, revenue-generating strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

The salary range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications as well as other business and organizational needs.

Pay Range

USD $150,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
