We are seeking a visionary and highly-skilled Distinguished Architect to join our senior technology leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and driving the overall technology vision and architectural strategy for the company. You will take a broad perspective, ensuring that our platforms are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with our strategic business goals. This role is critical in shaping the future of our Ad Tech landscape, leading complex analytics initiatives, and collaborating with senior leadership to drive technology investments and innovation across the organization.

Responsibilities

As an Distinguished Architect at Cadent, you will be a thought leader responsible for guiding our technical direction. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Technology Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the architectural vision for the company, with a focus on long-term scalability and sustainability across our platforms.
  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to shape technology investments and innovation, ensuring architectural principles are aligned with business outcomes.
  • Analytics & Data Architecture: Lead the technical strategy for complex, cross-functional analytics initiatives, designing robust and future-proof analytics platforms.
  • Governance & Standards: Set the architectural standards, patterns, and frameworks to be used by all engineering teams to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Solution Architecture: Provide hands-on architectural expertise to solve critical business challenges and guide teams in implementing robust, scalable solutions.
  • Mentorship & Industry Influence: Mentor senior engineers and architects within the organization and represent Cadent's technology vision within the wider Ad Tech industry.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience defining and evolving enterprise-wide architecture in a high-growth, data-intensive industry, preferably Ad Tech.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex technology initiatives from design to implementation.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional product and engineering teams.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Expert-level knowledge of large-scale system architecture, Python, and cloud platforms (GCP strongly preferred, AWS a plus).
  • Deep understanding of data architecture, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and designing for high availability and performance.
  • Familiarity with a diverse technology landscape, including languages like Java/.NET and modern enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).

 

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate a technical vision to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills.
  • A passion for innovation and the ability to influence, lead, and mentor others.

 

Eligibility:

The salary range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications as well as other business and organizational needs.

Pay Range

USD $250,000.00 - USD $350,000.00 /Yr.
