VuePlanner is a key part of Cadent’s Total Video strategy—enabling advertisers to plan, activate, and measure digital video and YouTube alongside their broader media investments. We are seeking a Sales Director to drive revenue growth for VuePlanner by selling YouTube and digital video solutions to agencies and brand advertisers.

This role is designed for a senior, hands-on seller who understands how YouTube is bought, approved, and scaled within complex agency organizations—and how digital video complements and extends linear TV investments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a quota-carrying Sales Director, responsible for driving revenue through VuePlanner’s YouTube and digital video solutions.
  • Own and grow senior relationships across holding companies, independent agencies, and brand advertisers.
  • Position VuePlanner as a strategic solution for extending and enhancing linear TV, sports, and tentpole investments through YouTube.
  • Navigate complex agency organizations, engaging investment leads, digital leadership, linear TV teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Identify and unlock YouTube budgets across multiple buying groups, including national, local, sports, and performance-focused teams.
  • Lead the full sales process—from opportunity identification and deal structuring through approval, close, and ongoing account expansion.
  • Partner closely with internal Cadent and VuePlanner teams to support planning, activation, and long-term client success.
  • Identify opportunistic and scatter spend and convert it into planned, scalable digital video investment.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline, forecast accurately, and consistently deliver against revenue targets.
  • Represent Cadent VuePlanner in client meetings, pitches, and industry events.

Who You Are:

  • A senior seller with deep experience in YouTube and digital video advertising.
  • Comfortable operating in environments with complex agency structures, competing priorities, and multiple decision-makers.
  • Able to connect digital video investment to broader media, sports, and linear TV strategies.
  • Highly self-directed, resourceful, and motivated by owning outcomes.
  • Trusted internally and externally—someone who can move deals forward with limited oversight.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in media, advertising, or ad-tech sales.
  • Proven success selling YouTube or digital video solutions to agencies and brands.
  • Strong understanding of agency investment models, buying groups, and approval processes.
  • Track record of carrying quota and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Ability to engage both executive decision-makers and day-to-day buyers.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Organized, disciplined, and comfortable managing multiple active opportunities.

Why Cadent & VuePlanner:

  • Be part of Cadent’s Total Video vision and help shape how advertisers activate YouTube at scale.
  • Sell a differentiated YouTube planning and execution solution within a fast-growing digital video market.
  • Work with senior agency and brand partners on meaningful, high-impact media investments.
  • Opportunity to build something significant within a growing platform and organization.

Eligibility:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
