As the Vice President of Ad Operations, you will define the long-term vision for the team and lead its evolution as a high-performing, scalable function. You’ll oversee structural and technological transformation to ensure world-class campaign delivery, client satisfaction, and internal efficiency. This role requires executive-level collaboration and strategic oversight, including ownership of budget planning, team resourcing, and operational tooling. You will represent Ad Ops at the leadership table and drive innovation across automation, data usage, and systems that enable growth and value delivery at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the team's primary technical escalation point and mentor, providing hands-on troubleshooting while fostering a culture of technical excellence and problem-solving.
  • Set the vision and long-term strategy for the Ad Operations function, aligning execution with company-wide goals.
  • Lead the department through structural and technological evolution, ensuring world-class campaign delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a key member of the Campaign Management & Operations leadership team, providing strategic input on operational scaling and efficiency.
  • Oversee budget planning, team resourcing, and vendor relationships to support operational needs at scale.
  • Champion innovation in automation, data use, and internal tooling to enhance efficiency and value delivery.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in digital advertising, including 3+ years in leadership roles.
  • Proven experience as a hands-on ad ops practitioner, with deep expertise in campaign trafficking and troubleshooting.
  • A track record of building and leading large-scale, high-performing operations organizations.
  • Experience managing workflows and team tasks using a ticketing or project management system is required; direct experience with Jira is strongly preferred.
  • Expert-level knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, including ad servers (e.g., Google Ad Manager), DSPs, SSPs, and other programmatic and creative technologies.
  • Executive-level communication, leadership, and organizational strategy experience.
  • A passion for developing people, systems, and culture at scale, with a willingness to "get in the trenches" with your team.

Pay Range

USD $175,000.00 - USD $195,000.00 /Yr.
