The HR Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the People team by ensuring seamless operational execution across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This role encompasses responsibilities in onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, compensation processing, data management, and people program coordination. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is detail-oriented, and is passionate about optimizing processes to create an exceptional employee experience.

Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations

  • Coordinate all aspects of the onboarding and offboarding experience to ensure a smooth, welcoming employee journey.
  • Facilitate background checks, new hire orientation, documentation collection, and system access setup.
  • Oversee offboarding logistics such as exit interviews, paperwork, systems removal, and exit surveys.
  • Process employee changes in ADP (i.e., promotions, transfers, compensation updates).

Benefits & Compensation

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR and benefits-related questions.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, and plan navigation.
  • Support the year-end compensation and promotion process.

Payroll

  • Support payroll processing by preparing employee changes, verifying time-off data, and auditing payroll reports for accuracy.
  • Liaise with the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate payroll submissions.
  • Appropriately respond to employee payroll-related inquiries and assist in resolving discrepancies.
  • Help maintain payroll documentation and support related compliance requirements.

People Programs & Culture

  • Support HR initiatives and ad hoc projects across Performance Management, Rewards & Recognition, Wellness, Learning & Development, Employee Experience.
  • Lead Spring and Summer Internship Program logistics, including planning, scheduling, and communication.

Data & Systems

  • Maintain and update HRIS data with high accuracy.
  • Develop and manage dashboards and reports using ADP DataCloud and Excel.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for workflow optimization through automation and process documentation.

Communications & Support

  • Prepare presentation materials and conduct research for the CPO and SVP, People - including slide decks for executive and board meetings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and triage employee relations matters to the appropriate HR Business Partner.
  • Assist in audit preparation, compliance documentation, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR or People Operations, ideally in a fast-paced or tech-focused environment.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, preferably ADP Workforce Now
  • Understanding of payroll processes
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; collaborative and service-oriented mindset.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and eager to grow in the HR field-someone who anticipates needs and takes initiative.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when working with confidential information.

 

Nice to Haves

  • Experience supporting HR programs
  • Exposure to benefits administration and compliance-related processes.
  • Familiarity with managing internship programs or university recruiting cycles.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Agentspace.
  • Comfort with reporting and dashboard platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).

Pay Range

USD $65,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr.
