The VP, DSP Solutions is a critical leadership role responsible for steering Cadent’s self-service Demand-Side Platform (DSP) business. The primary purpose of this position is to drive client growth and adoption of Cadent activation platforms and solutions, lead a high-performing team, and ensure delivery excellence. You will be a leader contributing to the success of the DSP business goals, including revenue and margin growth, client satisfaction and retention, and platform innovation. This role requires a strategic visionary with a hands-on approach to expand client relationships, guide a talented platform solutions team, develop processes and best practices, and collaborate across the organization to enhance our DSP offering.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and empower the DSP Solutions team, providing clear direction and support to effectively manage a growing portfolio of client accounts.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, guiding team members as subject matter experts and data-led decision makers.
  • Scale teams to support a growing client base while empowering team members to contribute to building the DSP business beyond standard client support

 

Strategic Growth and Execution:

  • With a focus on existing clients, develop and execute strategies to accelerate the growth of the self-service DSP business across client onboarding, retention, and feature adoption.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell other Cadent products and services, driving incremental revenue and deepening client engagement.

 

Client Consultation:

  • Be client facing, in partnership with Account Management teams, to cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner on campaign management and broader topics within the ad-tech ecosystem.
  • Serve as an escalation point for client issues, ensuring swift and effective resolution to maintain high levels of satisfaction.

 

Delivery Excellence:

  • Guide client delivery for the DSP platform business from initial onboarding and training through ongoing support and client development.
  • Drive process improvements to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and ensure a scalable delivery model through automation, AI, and/or solutions.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Operations, Product and Technology teams to influence the DSP platform roadmap, ensuring it evolves to meet the dynamic needs of our clients.
  • Communicate effectively with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align on business goals, report on performance, and execute cohesive go-to-market initiatives.
  • Support the Go to Market (GTM) team as a subject matter expert to develop solutions for client challenges, highlight best practices, and overcome objections.
  • Drive user education in partnership with Learning and Enablement teams and Product Marketing
  • Collaborate with Legal to align business and commercial terms with platform capabilities and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Extensive (10+ years) experience in the ad tech industry, with a deep focus on Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs).
  • A proven record of building, managing, and inspiring high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong command of the digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic buying, ad serving, data analytics, and measurement.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex, high-value client accounts and developing strategies for growth.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and tactical execution abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Direct experience with Cadent’s DSP or similar enterprise-level platforms.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM systems for pipeline and revenue management.
  • Technical acumen, including proficiency in data analysis tools and a working knowledge of SQL or similar database query languages.

Pay Range

USD $200,000.00 - USD $250,000.00 /Yr.
