Cadent is seeking an experienced and hands-on VP of Product Marketing to lead the strategic communication of our innovative predictive advertising platform. This key leadership role will spearhead the development of compelling product narratives that clearly articulate our unique value proposition to advertisers, agencies, and publishers across both the buy and sell sides of the digital advertising ecosystem. As we continue our high-growth trajectory competing with industry leaders, this role will be instrumental in positioning Cadent's integrated suite of solutions-including our Data Collaboration Platform (DCP), Demand Side Platform (DSP), and Supply Side Platform (SSP)-as the market standard for predictive advertising. 

Responsibilities

As VP of Product Marketing, you will lead the communication of Cadent's product vision, value, and differentiation to marketers, agencies, and media sellers. Working closely with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing teams, you will develop strategy and go-to-market plans for all products as well as competitive analysis across the portfolio. Reporting to the SVP, Head of Solutions, this individual will lead a team that develops and executes marketing strategies to clearly articulate product and solution features, benefits and differences. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

Strategic Leadership 

  • Build and lead a high-performing, results-oriented product marketing team that delivers exceptional market-facing content and sales enablement materials with an understanding of the tight timelines of the ad-tech and media landscape 
  • Drive our go-to-market strategy for the full product portfolio, ensuring consistent positioning and messaging across our integrated platform 
  • Be the product marketing team's platform and industry expertise, maintaining an accurate SWOT analysis of our solutions across the industry 
  • Lead product positioning and messaging globally: Build platform-level and feature-specific narratives and value propositions that highlight our predictive advertising advantage 

 

Product Narrative & Positioning 

  • Create the go-to source in the company for product and solution information, market trends, competitive differentiation, and customer references 
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into compelling, unique value propositions that resonate with different target audiences across the advertising ecosystem 
  • Lead the creation of sales materials, ensuring they illustrate the value proposition and differentiated features/benefits of Cadent's products 
  • Ensure clarity and consistency in how we communicate our unique integration of DCP, DSP, and SSP capabilities under our predictive advertising framework 

 

Market & Customer Intelligence 

  • Grow and maintain a deep understanding of audience segments and their unmet needs across media, advertising and measurement 
  • Build strong relationships with industry analysts to generate awareness and buy-in of Cadent's innovations and solutions 
  • Develop relationships with key customers, helping to turn these customers into advocates and references for our platform 
  • Continuously analyze competitive landscape to identify threats and opportunities for Cadent's product portfolio 

 

Go-to-Market Excellence 

  • Quarterback product launches across the organization, partnering with Product Management teams and Sales & Marketing teams to drive effective GTM strategy and flawless launch execution 
  • Drive collaboration and two-way communication between the Product Management, Marketing, and Sales teams, facilitating sharing of information 
  • Create and iterate on customer-focused messaging frameworks that clearly communicate our value proposition to different market segments 
  • Develop comprehensive launch plans that include defining target audiences, value propositions, messaging, and integrated marketing activities 

 

Qualifications

  • 10-12 years product marketing experience with at least 8+ years in product or solutions marketing within the adtech/martech industry 
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and lead a team with a track record of building high-performing marketing organizations 
  • Deep understanding of the B2B advertising/marketing technology space and product marketing experience for technology organizations 
  • Demonstrated success in product launches and end-to-end execution of marketing strategies and life-cycle management 
  • Compelling storyteller with a strategic and analytical mindset who can engage and educate customers and prospects 
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into competitive, compelling marketing functions 
  • Experience with programmatic advertising platforms, video advertising, and data-driven marketing technologies 
  • Proven track record in entering new markets and drafting compelling, differentiated positioning for rapid market entry

The posted compensation range is based on experience and location; candidates in higher-cost markets may be eligible for compensation at the upper end of the range.

Pay Range

USD $180,000.00 - USD $230,000.00 /Yr.
