Right now, Cadent is looking for an exceptional Senior Director, Converged Platform Sales to join our Platform/Business Development Team. This position, will be responsible for driving platform revenue through evangelizing the unique value of Cadent’s newly launched Converged Platform to publisher and distributor marketplace. The Converged Platform includes the three main modules: Audience (Identity Graph, CRM Onboarding, Data & Measurement Marketplace), Demand Side Platform (DSP), and Aperture MX (SSP).

Responsibilities

  • Driving new customer acquisition and new sales revenue for the Cadent Converged Platform by owning the end-to-end sales cycle for a target customers in the media industry.   The Platform/BD team at Cadent focuses on sell-side (publishers and distributors) and ecosystem (Data, DSPs, SSPs, etc)
  • Full sales cycle to generate new Converged Platform revenue – from cold outreach, initial pitch meetings, platform demos, contractual negotiations, closing and scaling new partners. The three main modules of the Converged Platform are:
    • Audience offerings: Identity Graph, CRM Onboarding, Audience Building, 3rd party Data Marketplace, and Measurement Marketplace
    • DSP offerings: Reach Extensions for ad sales teams at publishers, broadcasters v/MVPDs, OEMs and direct marketing / addressable advertising companies
    • SSP offerings: – Selling programmatic media solutions to publishers, including Audience PMPs.
  • Manage the complete demand facilitation process sales activity.  This includes prospecting, RFI/RFP responses, proposal creation/submission, order closing and servicing clients.  This requires close collaboration with Cadent’s entire platform team.
  • Develop and maintain Account Plans to organize customer touchpoints across Cadent. Coordinate with other divisions to unify customer communication and negotiations across Cadent.
  • Work closely with the Client Service/Customer Success, Product Marketing, Product, finance, legal and Engineering teams and other key stakeholders to communicate business requirements of our customers and ensure successful campaign performance from start to finish. 
  • Understand partner and customer needs to align expectations and provide feedback/market input that will strengthen the Cadent’s value proposition. 
  • Collaborate with the Platform leadership team and other sellers to develop weekly activity reports, Account Plans, revenue projections, KPI targets and performance goals.
  • Maintain and update internal Cadent CRM tools and provide weekly reporting.
  • Meet and exceed revenue goals.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Audience, DSP and/or SSP sales, with a focus on publisher and distribution partners.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding yearly and quarterly revenue goals.
  • Experience prospecting, negotiating and closing Audience, DSP, and SSP based deals   
  • Deep knowledge of the advanced TV/CTV/OTT/digital ecosystem, especially focused on Audiences, DPs and SSPs.
  • Strong relationships with senior decision makers at large media, entertainment, distribution and advertising technology companies.  
  • Superior presentation skills at the executive level, great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience building customer relationships and developing revenue growth
  • Ability to navigate complex client organizations, and identity key decision makers.
  • Ability to think strategically about growing annual account revenue
  • Strong customer and market focus with an ability to influence decision makers to take action
  • Adaptable in the face of constant change and ability to perform at a high level; identifying solutions when faced with challenges
  • Self-starter capable of flourishing in an entrepreneurial environment
  • BA/BS Degree required

Pay Range

USD $150,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
